Thanks all! I'm really proud of it; I hope the recipient likes it when I give it to him next month.
Here's a picture of it all framed and tidy.
And here's a preview of my next undertaking! It's actually the bottom third of an enormous piece featuring a portrait of an elephant and her calf (those are her tusks you can see poking down next to the sun), but I'm only doing the bottom because I'm unambitious and I think it looks better without the portrait.
