Princess Leia hat

A long time ago, (well, a few months back, so not that long ago I guess) I bought a copy of Knits for Nerds, and decided that I wanted to make a Space Princess hat. It was originally going to be for myself, but then my friend Emma modelled it for me, and loved it so much that I said she could have it! It's lovely and soft, and although the hat part is a bit small, it keeps ears nice and warm!

Here it is, modelled by Emma.

Super cute!

I wish I was a knitty person; I'd totally modify the pattern so I could have a nautilus over each ear. :P

Looks really cute, but did your book seriously call it a 'space princess' hat? I love it how books and TV shows tiptoe around copyrights like that!

Yep, that's what it was called! There were 3 variations for it as well, depending on how you wanted the hair to look. All modelled on one space princess in particular!
