Philpepe's items of no concern (WIP: WHO? DONE!)
Thought I would do like most people and make a single thread for all my projects. This is the one I'm working on finishing up now. I honestly feel like I've been working on it for half a decade and I'm just ready to get it done!

Re: Philpepe's items of no concern
Nice work. I feel as if I should know it from somewhere but I can't think of where though. Aren't solid color blocks a pain? I find them to be extremely boring. I have to find a way to keep myself interested in doing a project if it has a bunch of them in it.

is that the Gryffindor crest? I love it! I'm planning on doing a hogwarts crest for our guest room...I want to do all the houses individually also, but I can't find patterns, and I'm absolutely terrible at making my own >.<

Re: Philpepe's items of no concern
It is the Gryffindor crest and I think I got the pattern from sprite stitch a few years ago. As for blocks of solid color, I actually enjoy them because I can mindlessly stitch them without having to constantly check the pattern.

Re: Philpepe's items of no concern
Here's a progress update after a few days of work. Trying to get the sides finished up so I can flip it and work on the top and bottom.
I'm wishing now I would have left a much bigger border on the top and bottom when I started this one...

Re: Philpepe's items of no concern
Also, here is a "consolidation" of many of the "non-video game" cross stitches I have completed! Some are from kits, but others are from patterns I actually came up with myself!
This was a kit I worked on for quite some time, and eventually sold the completed piece on Etsy!
Another kit, just a cute little butterfly
This is a pattern I created on my own and stitched. I tried to sell the finished piece and pattern on Etsy, but ended up giving away the finished one as a Christmas gift
And this is probably one of my favorites that I've created and stitched so far. It ended up being a Christmas present as well.
I've got more, just can't currently dig up the pictures, or haven't taken pictures of them yet!

I approve heartily of the Eccleston quotation. Tennant and Smith are rock stars, but Eccleston doesn't get enough love.
Who makes the wolf kit? I love the half stitch shadows.

I thought the same thing. He really doesn't get enough! I'm not entirely sure who did the wolf kit, but I'll see if I can find the pattern when I get home this afternoon and let you know!RMDC wrote:I approve heartily of the Eccleston quotation.
