Felt Food

Post by Kareesh »

My one-year old just recently got a kitchen, and even though it came with a lot food-type stuff, I wanted to make her some food out of felt. I've never done anything like this before, so I was very pleased with the results. So far I've only done strawberries, but I'm hoping to add some more to her pantry. :)

The strawberries are made out of felt and all hand sewn.

Those are super cute! I can't wait to see what else you come up with. I know I would have loved to have those when I was a kid!

I know, right? A week from today she'll be 16 months! Where has the time gone?

My husband and I had another craft night, so I decided to get around to making the tomato I kept saying I was going to make. It turned out...okay. All the instructions I found online left it inside out and I wondered why. Well, now I know. It's a pain in the butt to flip it. On the backside (not seen in the picture) I did end up putting some stitches on the outside. I plan on making another one and trying to figure out a better way to do it.

Also, I didn't make the green thingie as big as I would have like. Just sorta cut it out and put it on there and went, "Oh, well that's a bit small." But I think it's pretty good considering everything.
