Re: Upcycled Mario T-shirt Backpacks
It occurs to me - my young daughters' outgrown T-shirts could make little backpacks for their dolls. :3

Re: Upcycled Mario T-shirt Backpacks
I went out and bought my supplies I needed to make another bag.
After I get done with this next quilted pillow I'm making, I'll get started on that tutorial.
Where would I post a tutorial at here?

There's the Techniques/Guides forum. People post tutorials there.

Tooooo cute! Are they lined with anything? I would think the cotton from a tshirt would be kind of stretchy on its own. I have a couple shirts I could definitely spare from becoming rags this way!

Did you ever end up making a tutorial on this?BritRo wrote:Thanks guys!
I don't have a pattern, no.
When I do projects like these I always wing it and just do things as I go along.
All I have is a piece of paper of the shape I cut out so all the fabric is the same size.
I actually just found out that one of my shirts just shrunk in the wash and is a little too tight on me now, so maybe when I get some more supplies I will make a tutorial (to the best of my ability, I'm REALLY bad at explaining how to make things.)
When I make the tutorial I'll be sure to post it up here for you guys, it's extremely easy to make and great for carrying video games around in.
I think I will be using mine for some Disney trips.
