Step The Eight
Bitty piles.
I like to start with a few randomly cut pieces of tiles, unless I have a certain way I'm going to have the tiles look, eg, the background of my peacock where I tried to make it look as though they were whole tiles. Ooo mosaic related rambling!

Step The Ninth
OPTIONAL STEP.
Place your tiles first before you stick. Of course you can move things about once glued, but it depends on the glue you have. I sometimes go for it, and sometimes place about three to four bits before I glue.
Step of a Decade
Stick it to the man!!!! Or just the wood. Or you know...I'll be quiet now...
Here's where we glue the bits on the wood. I use lovely lovely wood glue. And squire a bit on the back of the tile before sticking it in place.
